My super sweet friend surprised me with 2 months of the Petit Vour subscription box! I was SO excited when I got each one in the mail (see my unboxing of July’s box here) since I’ve heard such great things about Petit Vour from other people. They definitely lived up to the hype and I’m excited to share the products I received in this month’s box!
The first (and in my opinion, most exciting) item in the box was the Lily Lolo Sculpt & Glow Contour Duo, valued at $26. Seeing as how the entire box only cost $15, this product alone pays for the box itself (and more!) This is the first product I’ve ever tried from Lily Lolo, which is a relatively high-end vegan & cruelty-free mineral makeup line. This is definitely my favorite item in this month’s box! The contour shades is a relatively neutral brown – it doesn’t seem to lean warm or cool, and the highlight has a little bit of a peachy undertone that I think would look lovely on any skin tone! Both shades are velvety smooth and swatch beautifully. I can’t wait to try it on my face!
Also included in this month’s box is the Formulary 55 Sea Mineral Body Polish (a $7 value) in the scent called “Grapefruit & Rosemary.” I’ve never heard of this brand before, nor have I ever used a body polish, so I’m intrigued to try it out! I love the fresh, herbal scent of this one. I think I’ll save it for the colder months when my skin needs some added life to it.
A 2-mL sample of the True Mooring Lavender Facial Oil (valued at $3, while the full size is $26) also came in this month’s box. While I’m not a tremendous fan of the scent of lavender — I want to like it, I just don’t — I think I’ll brave through the scent to try out this oil. It claims it “combines the unique antiaging and moisturizing properties of moringa with the skin-soothing beauty of lavender.” If it lives up to its claims, this will be a fabulous moisturizer!
Going along with the lavender theme, the final product included is a sample 2-pack of the Box Naturals Luxe Towelettes (a $1.50 value, while the full box of 12 costs $9). Again with the icky lavender, but I still think this will be great for when I’m traveling and need a quick makeup removal option.
In total, the value of this month’s Petit Vour box was $37.50 – over $22 greater than the actual cost of the box itself. I was definitely happy with this month’s items – especially the contour duo. Plus, it’s always fun to be able to try out brands you most likely never would have heard of before. I can’t wait to give these products a try soon. If you’re interested in a full review on any of these products, let me know and I’ll make it happen!
I also did an unboxing of this box on the YouTube channel, so be sure to check that out!
Have you ever tried Petit Vour or any other cruelty-free subscription box? If so, what did you think?
